What you will do
• Fulfil data and reporting requests for the business unit
• Present information through reports and dashboards utilizing both Power BI and SSRS reporting tools.
• Work with the Business and Product team members to solve data and reporting challenges
• Provide innovative data visualizations and dashboarding solutions for business stakeholders
• Create and amend stored procedures, SSRS reports and SSIS data integration code accordingly
What you require for the role
• Proven experience in Microsoft BI stack T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI
• Experience working within Property & Casualty, Specialty or Reinsurance
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks
• Preferred experience maintaining and enhancing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative
• An analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication collaboration tools
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps software development - including design, build, code review, testing, release and bug fixing
